Chassity is a young girl who loves art. She started painting in 2019 when I noticed her love for art. She watches a lot of YouTube videos and tutorials about painting and takes pride in her paintings. She loves BLACK GIRLS WHO PAINT, watches the BGWP Instagram, and always tells me how important it is for her to keep practicing. She works hard as a young artist and will go far.
So Chassy, continue to be creative and inspired. Creativity takes courage. Keep creating and striving for greatness.

The Black Girl Social Club started with a Girls’ night. A group of 12 women came together to talk, eat, drink, and close out the year with affirmations. After a night of healing, guided meditation, laughing, crying, and lots of new connections made, Carmen realized this was something women needed-more specifically Black women. They needed a space to feel seen, be heard, and not feel judged. They needed healing through talking, relationships and fun activities. She wanted to recreate that feeling over and over again. That’s when The Black Girl Social Club was born.
Is to create a safe space for Black women. We are bringing back the art of face to face communication, and building relationships away from our phones, and off of the internet. We’re tackling mental, physical, and emotional health as a community. We are looking to fill a void in the city of Atlanta, and cities nationwide. Our mission is really quite simple-we want to impact the lives of Black women through social interaction, so that they might be happy, healthy and whole, and able to put that energy back into their communities.
