What does being a Black girl who paints mean to you?
Being a black girl who paints means that I can fearlessly and unapologetically follow my creative pursuits. So often we are forced to pursue careers that do not align with our passions. As a full time artist and student, I have the blessing of experiencing true joy when I work. Painting is a therapy for me and I love creating works of art for my friends and family.
