Hey, my name is Jaida! I started painting ever since elementary school. I just had the need to draw and it fueled me throughout middle school, where I got to make friends and mentor people who are also interested in art. I typically like to draw girls and one of my favorite styles to see is lineless art. I like the look of it!
What does being a Black girl who paints mean to you?
Being a black girl who paints means that I get to connect with other artist and all bond over of our various loves and interests. It also means I bring variety and a new style when it comes to art but I also add a lot of character to any room I’m in!
